Hi, I'm Renee Wiggins, owner of JetAge Studio. I'm a lifelong artist working in many different creative mediums over the years. Creative art programs in my high school years first set me on my path to becoming the artist I am today; introducing me to the art of metalsmithing and jewelry making throughout those four years. Earlier on, by chance, I took a glass lampworking session at a local craft school in 1993, and found working with glass spoke to my design aesthetics and had a profound effect on me.  I continued on to college with a focus on metalsmithing but also discovered photography, which developed into a career and lessons learned that I still use today. 

I became a part time beadmaker in 2006 after a hiatus from glass fusing, and became a full time glassworking artist in 2009. I created JetAge Studio and specialized in offering handmade beads and glassworking products for lampworking artists. In 2016, I became dedicated to curating and offering the most gorgeous color shifting creative art pigments & powders alongside my line of revolutionary dichroic metal oxide heat resistant flake product for glassworking called "Lumiere Lusters™".  What was once a collection of 25 glass working specific products at JetAge Studio has now blossomed into 125+ specialty pigments for ALL kinds of creative art mediums!
